No, they are a foreign body and usually have to be changed, some patients they do last longer than others but we say at approximately 10-15 years
Will I loose nipple sensation?
The nerves are stretched during surgery, which may result in temporary loss in sensation
Can I breastfeed after surgery?
The implant does not interfere with breast feeding
